Here's a power pop love tune of longing that I wrote when my lover happened to be out of town for one long week during one cold cold winter.
Inspired by some of my favorite songs, I decided to have some fun with song titles and lines in the lyrics on a few of the verses here.
This one was written in 2005 when we lived in Philly.
Later that year, I recorded the basic tracks at Avast Recording while visiting my hometown of Seattle.
I was lucky and super stoked to have fellow Fastback Kurt Bloch track the guitars. Always a good time working with Kurt!
I was also fortunate to have Mark Lewis from White Light Motorcade lay down some bass and mixing while in NYC.

As I look back on some of the songs that I've written and recorded over the years, it's become clear to me now more than ever how important it is to eventually get the music out into the world!
It wasn't until this last year that I made the realization that I needed to release as many back cataloged songs as possible.
I added the extra ear candy synths to this track at House Of Faith Recording here in Oakland for the final touch, finally reaching the finish line!
This song has racked up some miles in the process and progress over the years, so without any further a do, I give you, Picture Of You!
